Le Cordon Bleu Signatures Restaurant has once again received a Five Diamond rating from the Canadian/American Automobile Association (CAA/AAA). A Five Diamond rating is the highest honor bestowed upon restaurants by the CAA/AAA, and signifies world-class excellence: menus are often “cutting edge,” featuring only the finest ingredients available; presentations are spectacular and reflect impeccable artistry and awareness; staff members pay unfailing attention to detail and service guests effortlessly and unobtrusively. Le Cordon Bleu is the only culinary institution to operate a Five Diamond restaurant. Currently, there are 60 restaurants in all of North America with a Five Diamond rating and only nine in Canada.


In keeping with Le Cordon Bleu profile, our restaurant Le Cordon Bleu Signatures features the finest in classic French cuisine reinterpreted within a modern and innovative context, combining elements of patisserie with traditional cuisine preparations to create such signatures dishes as Hot Quebec foie gras with a caramelized apple tart, sautéed chanterelle mushrooms and a lightly Duminot cider jus, and Peppercorn-encrusted Alberta beef tenderloin flambéed with Calvados tableside, served with local vegetables and mushrooms.  The menu, which changes seasonally, combines sophisticated ingredients with regionally available products.  The result is a distinctive experience that exemplifies excellence in the culinary arts.

 

Only one year after its opening, Le Cordon Bleu Signatures was awarded three stars (the highest possible ranking) by the prestigious Where to Eat in Canada, and has maintained this ranking as one of the top 22 restaurants across Canada.  Le Cordon Bleu Signatures has been the recipient of two Ottawa Epicurean Awards, for “Best Service” and “Best Wine List Matched to the Menu”.
